Alex Iwobi was shown a red card as the Super Eagles were held to a 2-2 draw in an international friendly with Jordan on Tuesday night.
Despite taking a halftime lead, Nigeria could not finish the job against a Jordan side already qualified for the 2026 World Cup.
The game played in Turkey saw Jordan draw the first blood through Musa Tamari in the 17th minute before Moses Simon equalised for the Eagles.
New kid in the block, Emmanuel Fernandez, then fired Nigeria in front just before haltime, opening his goal account for the national team.
