
The 14 Brigade Nigerian Army has told farmers and other residents close to 14 Brigade Range Area not to panic at the sound of weapons from Monday, March 23 to Wednesday, March 25, 2026.
The Brigade said it would conduct its First Range Classification exercise to improve weapon handling, shooting skills and marksmanship capacity of its personal.
According to a statement signed by Captain Mazinho Attah, the acting Assistant Director Army Public Relations, the exercise would be conducted at 14 Brigade Shooting Range, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan Barracks Ohafia, Abia State.
The 14 Brigade advised residents and farmers close to its shooting range area to stay away from the general area on the stated days.
The statement read in part: ” Consequently, residents and farmers close to the 14 Brigade range area are please requested not to panic on hearing the sound of weapons fired, and equally keep off from the general area on the stated days”, Captain Attah said in the statement.
