At least 17people were reportedly killed in Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip on Wednesday.
The Palestinian news agency, WAFA, reported that the victims include a pregnant woman.
The Israeli army said it had attacked more than 150 targets in Gaza City over the past two days, including “terrorists and military structures.”
Israel has been conducting a major ground offensive in the city since Monday night.

An independent commission of inquiry of the United Nations Human Rights Council said on Tuesday that Israel was committing genocide against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
Four of the five genocidal acts listed in the 1948 UN Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide have been carried out since October 7, 2023.
