Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and former Governor of Rivers State, Rotimi Amaechi have both picked the presidential nomination forms of the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
The party made this known on its official X handle on Saturday, stating that the moves mark another turning point in Nigeria’s democratic journey.

Amaechi’s nomination form was picked up at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja on his behalf by former National Chairman of the APC, John Oyegun, alongside former Minister of Environment, Mohammed Abdullahi, Nura Abatemi, Asita, and Ike Bishop Okoronkwo, Chief Executive Officer of Bishop Plus Media Services, among other political stakeholders.
On his part, the party revealed that Atiku officially received his payment receipt to contest under the platform of the ADC ahead of the 2027 Presidential Election, adding, that the formal presentation of nomination forms is expected on Monday at the ADC National Secretariat, Abuja.
