But, Adelabu who is one of the gubernatorial aspirants on the platform of the party in Oyo State, insisted that the party is yet to pick a candidate in the state.
Adelabu who spoke through his Special Adviser on Strategic Communication and Media Relations, Bolaji Tunji, noted that such insinuations are expected during tof political period.
He added that each political actor will want to sell their ideas to the public in order the gain relevance.
Tunji in a telephone conversation with DAILY POST on Tuesday, said, “You see, at a period like this, especially when nomination for tickets is very close, there will be a lot of people coming out with different speculations and all those things and that is normal in politics.
“And my principal did not say he will not contest for the gubernatorial election. People will want to sell ideas just to confuse people.
“And in progressive politics, there is orderliness. There is hierarchy also. So all these factors will come to play. All those things are just media hyping.”
