No fewer than twenty-two people have died in another road accident in Dutse local Government, Jigawa State.
An eyewitness confirmed to DAILY POST that the incident happened on Tuesday at about 2:00PM along Kwanar Huguna to Dutse Municipal.
He said the incident involved a trailer conveying sand and two Gulf vehicles carrying passengers on their way to attend a wedding ceremony.
Police spokesman SP. Lawan Shiisu Adam confirmed the accident.
He said based on the available report sixteen people died while four sustained injuries.
This is coming two days after the death of eleven persons in a lone car accident.
