A successful muslim man belongs to many women, not just one - Ghanaian woman says

A Ghanaian woman, Jibril Rafatu, has said that a successful Muslim man does not belong to one woman.  Rafatu, who stated this in a Facebook post said she is accepts polygamy because she is a Muslim and her tribe practiced it before Islam.  According to Rafatu, a woman helping her husband establish himself does not stop him from taking another wife hence women should focus on personal growth while supporting their spouses.  As a Muslim single woman, Ive learned to accept polygamy. Even before Islam, my tribe practiced it, so understanding this helps me stay grounded. When you help a man build himself, remember you cant bind him from taking another wife just because you were there from the start. Help him if you choose to, but do it with wisdom, not attachment. Focus on your own growth first, make yourself established too. A successful Muslim man belongs to many, not just one.
