They collected N10 million from me before releasing me Nigerian rapper Oladips calls out EFCCNigerian rapper, Oladips, has accused operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) of extorting N10 million from him before granting his release. Speaking on the Trending Podcast, the rapper opened up about his arrest last year, claiming that nothing incriminating was found on him but he was still detained for several days. Oladips said he was picked up alongside some of his neighbours during a midnight raid in his estate in November 2024, and spent five days in EFCC custody. According to him, the experience was dehumanising. Its just one smelling place like that. They packed us there like sardines and gave us nonsense food. Funny enough, it was Zlatan that was sending me food. Zlatan is not even a friend thats my blood, he said. He continued, They didnt find anything on me. Not even a single thing. Yet they still collected N10 million from me before they released me. When asked if he planned to take legal action against the EFCC, Oladips replied, Who is my father? At the end of the day, who is my father? Its just me and my truth. If they are watching this, they know that Im saying the truth. They didnt find anything on me. So what was the money for? What was all that stress and suffering for? Its just Nigeria Nigeria just happened to me. The post They collected N10 million from me before releasing me Nigerian rapper Oladips speaks about time in EFCC customs appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
