Actress Dayo Amusa forgives TikToker who falsely accused her of having HIV

Nollywood actress Dayo Amusa has chosen forgiveness over anger after a TikToker falsely accused her of living with HIV, a claim that sparked outrage among her fans and colleagues. 

In a video he posted on his social media account a few months ago, the TikToker identified as Segun Olaoluwa asserted that that the actress had HIV.

Dayo later filed a petition against Segun after his viral video, which was based on false allegations, and Segun was subsequently taken into police custody.

Segun apologized to the actress for the untrue statement he made and described his terrible experience in police custody in a video that he made public on Monday, September 15.

In a video that she uploaded to the internet on Tuesday morning, Dayo responded that she had forgiven him and requested that the issue be ended because she had withdrawn the petition.

‘’To err is human and to forgive is divine,” the actress said in a video posted on social media.
