Controversial Nollywood actress Doris Ogala was reportedly arrested on Saturday evening, December 20, 2025, during a live broadcast, in a dramatic development linked to her ongoing dispute with Pastor Chris Okafor.
The incident occurred while Ogala was participating in a livestream interview with an online personality when security operatives allegedly arrived at her residence, abruptly interrupting the session and drawing immediate attention from viewers.
During the broadcast, the interviewer was heard asking, “The police are in your house?” to which Ogala replied, “Yes, the police are in my house,” confirming the officers’ presence in real time as the situation unfolded on camera.
In the same livestream, Ogala appeared visibly distressed and was heard reprimanding an individual identified as “Charity” for allowing the officers into her home, claiming she had previously warned against granting them access.

The interviewer urged the actress to keep her phone connected and questioned whether the officers had produced a valid warrant, but the livestream ended shortly afterward, leaving viewers without further clarification.
Reacting to the development, comedian and former Big Brother Naija housemate Dee One announced the alleged arrest on Instagram, stating that Ogala would now have to defend her claims in court. As of the time of filing this report, the police had not released an official statement detailing the reason for the arrest or any formal charges.
The reported arrest comes days after Ogala publicly issued a ₦1 billion legal demand against Pastor Okafor, accusing him of breaching an alleged marriage promise. In several emotional videos shared online, she also accused the cleric of financial exploitation and claimed the relationship began around 2017 and lasted several years.
