Nigerian singer, Adekunle Kosoko, popularly known as Adekunle Gold, has debunked rumours circulating online about his health.
The rumour started with a post on X claiming that the singer had a bone marrow transplant, suggesting it would mitigate the effects of a health condition.
The tweet read: “Yes, he has, but since he’s had a bone marrow transplant, I don’t think it affects him that much anymore.”
However, the father of one did not hesitate to respond, humorously calling out the claim as baseless.
“It is how you people will just say things you don’t even know with so much confidence. No, I haven’t had a bone marrow transplant.”
The speculation could be linked to Adekunle Gold’ past revelation about his sickle cell anaemia diagnosis, which he shared in his song “5 Star” in 2022.
