Former South Africa international, Teko Modise, has named the two best teams at the the ongoing AFCON tournament in Morocco.
Speaking after Nigeria’s quarter-final 2-0 win against Algeria on Saturday, Modise named the Super Eagles and the Atlas Lions as the two best teams in the tournament.
Recall that goals from Victor Osimhen and Akor Adams gave Nigeria victory against the North Africans.
“Nigeria and Morocco are the two best teams right now at the AFCON, in terms of how they play football. Nigeria are the best attacking team at this AFCON,” Modise said on SuperSport.
“If you look at the game against Algeria in its entirety, it was expected for Nigeria to dominate the game. Osimhen and Iwobi stood out.”
Nigeria and Morocco will clash in the semi-final on Wednesday for a place in the final.
