Anambra APC Deputy Governorship candidate Uche Ekwunife ignores Governor Chukwuma Soludo at event (video)

Anambra politics took a dramatic turn as Uche Ekwunife, the Deputy Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), reportedly ignored Governor Chukwuma Soludo at a recent public event, deepening the rift between the two political figures ahead of the November governorship election. Tensions between them have been escalating since Governor Soludo publicly questioned the authenticity of Ekwunifes academic qualifications, particularly her PhD. Ekwunife fired back sharply, criticizing Soludos leadership and personal conduct. She accused him of neglecting pressing governance and security challenges in Anambra State and went further to make personal allegations about his hygiene. In a more controversial outburst, Ekwunife alleged that Soludos wife, Nonye Soludo, had an affair with the late former governor Chinwoke Mbadinuju and insinuated doubts about the paternity of some of her children. Mrs. Soludo swiftly reacted, issuing a 72-hour ultimatum for Ekwunife to retract her statements and tender a public apology or face legal action.
