A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, has commiserated with former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, over the demise of Mr Ifeanyi Izeze.
Eze said the late Izeze was a pioneering member of Atiku’s media team, whom he had worked with in the former Vice President’s political dynasty.
He expressed sadness over the loss of Mr Izeze, described as a visionary, focused, upright and fearless, especially at this period when he was needed to add his strong voice to put things right in this country.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, Eze said Izeze’s death was unbelievable and shocking, saying the former VP has lost an asset when it comes to media management.
“The news of the death of my friend and brother, Pastor Ifeanyi Izeze assaulted my earlobes. It is painful to lose such an enigma, resourceful and communication strategist, at a time his services were needed most by our Principal.
“Our consolation lies in the fact that death is a certain end for mankind, Eze stated.
“His Excellency, our Principal Sir, our hearts and thoughts are with you and the immediate family of the late Mr Izeze.
“In this trying period, we pray God to grant the soul of Mr Izeze, eternal rest, and for us the living, the strength of heart to accept the wish of God, Eze stated.
