Senator and former governor of Zamfara State, Abdulaziz Yari, has hailed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his achievements in taking Nigeria out of the woods.

Senator Yari said under Tinubu, the country is progressing, urging opposition parties to bury their hate and anger to see what the All Progressives Congress-led government has done for Nigerians.

According to him, under President Tinubu, students no longer drop out of school over strikes or financial difficulties.

He made this known in a statement on Friday via his technical committee representative, Okpokwu Ogenyi.

Yari cited improved inflation data, such as inflation, which stood at 15.06 percent from 34 percent, foreign reserves at $49 billion, and other economic indices under Tinubu’s government.

He further urged Nigerians not to listen to lies, propaganda, and deliberate distortions against President Tinubu’s government by opposition parties.

“We call on opposition figures and those who feel aggrieved as a result of the ongoing re-engineering and rebuilding of Nigeria by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led government to bury their anger and open their eyes to see the benefits of the ongoing reforms of this administration, as we believe no one can see clearly if eyes are closed,” the statement reads.

This comes as the ruling party gathered in Abuja on Friday through Saturday for its national convention with President Bola Tinubu, 32 governors, and over 8000 delegates present.
