Attempted kidnapping: Anambra couple in police net

The couple, aged 36 years and 27 years respectively, were arrested by Joint Security Forces in Ozubulu, Ekwusigo Local Government Area of the State, following a technology-driven information. A statement by the Command’s spokesman, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, stated that arrest followed reports of text messages and voice notes received by unsuspecting members of the public on threats of abduction and kidnap. "The couple specialises in sending threatening messages to people and demanding ransom or they shall be abducted or killed.
