
Germany legend, Oliver Kahn, has backed Bayern Munich winger Michael Olise to win the 2026 Ballon d’Or.
Kahn believes Olise’s performances for Vincent Kompany’s side so far this season have put him in pole position to win the Ballon d’Or ahead of other players.
This is coming after Oliseh led the Bavarians to beat Real Madrid in the Champions League quarter-final second leg encounter in mid-week.
“If you look at his performances over the past few weeks, then Michael Olise is definitely on his way towards the Ballon d’Or,” Kahn told Sky Germany.
Olise has been impressive for Bayern Munich so far this season.
The Frenchman, alongside Real Madrid’s Vinicius, is the player with the most assists in the Champions League so far this season.
