Bandits k!ll six in Bauchi community

Six people have reportedly been k!lled, while several others were injured by armed bandits during a late-night attack on Sabon Garin Pali in Alkaleri Local Government Area of Bauchi State.  The bandits stormed the village late on Sunday night, April 5, 2026, shooting sporadically to scare residents as they moved from house to house attacking victims.  Aresident of the village said they were fast asleep when the attackers struck at midnight, catching them unawares. According to villagers, the bandits went from one house to another, searching for money and k!lling people without justification.   At the end of the attack, which lasted more than two hours, the bandits had k!lled six people, injured several others, and abducted a number of residents.  The source added that no security operatives came to their rescue, leaving them at the mercy of the attackers, who carried out the operation unhindered.  Meanwhile, funeral prayers for the victims were held in the village, led by the Chief Imam, with many residents and people from neighbouring communities in attendance.  After the prayers, held in front of the Village Heads Palace on Monday, April 6, the bodies were taken to the burial ground for interment.   The post Bandits k!ll six in Bauchi community appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
