Bandits kill elderly man, abduct women in Zamfara

Bandits on Friday attacked Kurfar Danya village in Bukkuyyum Local Government Area of Zamfara State, killing an elderly resident and abducting six women.

This was disclosed in a post on Saturday by a security analyst, Bakastine on his X handle.

According to the post, the victim, popularly known in the community as Baba Kadago, was reportedly killed during the raid as well as abduction of six women, while several houses were set ablaze by the attackers.

The post reads, “yesterday, bandits attacked Kurfar Danya in Bukkuyyum LGA, Zamfara State.”

“The attack reportedly resulted in the death of an elder known as Baba Kadago, abduction of six women, and the burning of multiple homes,

“The incident has left the community in shock.”
