Suspected bandits, on Friday night, attacked Pali community in Alkaleri Local Government Area of Bauchi State, killing a local vigilante member and abducting two children during the raid.
The incident was disclosed by security analyst, Bakastine via his X handle.
The post reads “SAD NEWS: Last night, bandits attacked Pali community in Alkaleri LGA of Bauchi State.
“According to local sources, the gunmen stormed the community, opened fire, killed vigilante member Yusuf Momo, popularly known as Dan Banga Pali, and abducted two children of Alhaji Manu Pali, while also looting goods from residents.
“The incident has left the community in shock and fear, with residents calling on security authorities to intensify efforts to rescue the abducted children and curb recurring bandit attacks in the LGA.”
DAILY POST learnt that at about 10:30pm late Friday night, a distress message was sent by the security analyst requesting for security intervention.
