
Bandits on Sunday afternoon attacked Kokanawa community in Danko-Wasagu Local Government Area of Kebbi State, abducting two people, looting homes, and setting several houses on fire.
The attackers also rustled cattle and other livestock during the raid, which left residents terrified and displaced.
The incident was made public by security analyst Bakatsine, who shared details of the attack in a post on X on Monday.
“Yesterday afternoon, bandits invaded Kokanawa community in Danko-Wasagu LGA, Kebbi State. They abducted two people, rustled cattle and livestock, looted homes and set several houses ablaze during the invasion,” Bakatsine wrote.
As of the time of this report, security agencies have not released an official statement on the incident.
