Another distressing video has been released by bandits where they showed abducted victims made up of a man and his two young children being beaten mercilessly by the bandits.
In the short video clip which has been making the rounds on social media platforms on Thursday, the bandits are heard telling their victims to say something as they are being beaten.
The victims are also pleading with their abductors while the little children are also heard speaking in Nupe language saying the beating is painful, an indication that the incident happened somewhere in Niger State, a predominantly Nupe speaking area.
The person who shared the video accompanied it with these words:
“Humanity can be so cruel sometimes. How can human beings treat their fellow humans this way? It’s heartbreaking and difficult to understand.
“What makes it even more painful is that those responsible are likely from the same region, the same state even the same communities as the victims.
“At times like this, it feels like only God can save this country. But we must also reflect, speak up, and demand better from ourselves (you and me) and from those in authority.
“This is so painful they are saying in Nupe language that they need help; may almighty Allah forgive and accept our prayers during this month of Ramadan and protect us and bring them back home safely.”
