BBNaija reality TV star, Pere Egbi has condemned the open celebration of former President Muhammadu Buhari’s death by a few Nigerians.
In a letter to President Bola Tinubu’ on Monday, the reality TV star urged the Nigerian leader to find solutions to the current economic hardship in the country.
The letter, posted on social media read:
“Nigeria is hurting. Millions are broken. Many have lost faith in our political leaders, not because they want to, but because the pain left behind has fermented into bitterness and hate.

Despite disagreeing with some of Tinubu’s policy initiatives, Pere declared that the president has the ability to improve the country’s fortune.
On the celebration of Buhari’s death, he added:
“Blast him while he’s alive. Express your displeasure while he’s breathing… But once he’s gone, for the sake of those he left behind… show some restraint.
“Blaming him for hardship and loss is valid. What’s not valid is assuming that not cursing a dead man equals endorsing his actions.”
