The Benue State Quality Assurance and Examinations Board (BEQAEB) has announced that registration for the 2026 Mock Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE) is ongoing, with a firm deadline of March 31, 2026.
In a public notice issued by the board, stakeholders—including school principals, parents, guardians, and students—were urged to take the registration process seriously, emphasising that the mock examination is a critical requirement in the academic calendar.
According to the board, registration is strictly online and must be completed through its official portal.
The Mock SSCE has been designated as a mandatory qualifying examination for all prospective SS3 students.
BEQAEB further stated that only candidates who successfully register and participate in the mock examination will be accredited to sit for external examinations the following year.
The board also warned that any student who fails to take part in the Mock SSCE will not be promoted to Senior Secondary School Three (SS3).
“All concerned are strongly advised to ensure strict compliance with these directives,” said Jeffrey Adzam, Information Officer of the board.
