Victor Boniface has started rehabilitation after undergoing a successful knee surgery, DAILY POST reports.
Boniface went under the knife in Innsbruck, Austria, on Saturday.
The Nigeria international has already been ruled out for the remainder of the season.
The 25-year-old shared a video on the social media showing him working with a physiotherapist.
Boniface is on loan at Werder Bremen from Bayer Leverkusen.
He registered two assists in 11 league appearances for Bremen before his injury.
