Chelsea duo Reece James, Enzo Fernandez name toughest player ever faced

Chelsea duo, Reece James and Enzo Fernandez have named their toughest player ever faced in the sport.

James named Real Madrid’s Vinicius, while Fernandez also named another Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe as his toughest player ever played against.

Both players are preparing for their Club World Cup semi-final encounter against Fluminense on Tuesday.

They featured as the Blues defeated Palmeiras 2-1 in the quarter-final encounter on Saturday.

However when asked about the toughest player he has played against in his career, Fernandez said (via TouchlineX): “Mbappé”.

On his part, James said: “Vinicius Jr.”

Should Chelsea beat Fluminense in the Club World Cup semi-final, and Real Madrid beat Paris Saint-Germain in the other semi-final, all the four players – Fernandez, James, Vinicius and Mbappe – will have the opportunity to face each other in the final.
