President of the Evangelical Church Winning All, ECWA, Rev. Job Ayuba Bagat, has expressed gratitude to God for keeping Nigeria as a united entity, in spite of the economic hardship, insecurity, political uncertainty, social tension, and moral decline that characterized 2025.

In his Christmas message to the nation, Bagat said, “As we celebrate Christmas, let us remember that Christ is still found by those who seek Him sincerely, not in noise or material abundance, but in humility, obedience, holiness, and love.”

He thanked the Almighty father for keeping the country together despite daunting challenges in Nigeria, saying that he has seen the hand of protection, provision and unity in the country.

As the country steps into the year 2026, he said that God is calling on all Nigerians to deepen spiritual alertness and faithfulness to shame the plans of those planning evil in the country, believing that the Almighty father will protect and guide the leaders in the land in the path of righteous in order to prosper the country.

He stated that as families face rising costs of living, young people confront uncertainty, and as communities long for peace and justice, the Church must shine brighter than ever, stressing that the church is called to be a beacon of hope, a people who seek God diligently and remain spiritually awake.

He charged Nigerians, “Let us not lose heart. The same God who has kept us thus far will carry us forward. The darkness of our times cannot overcome the light of Christ shining through His Church.”
