Katsina State Governor, Dikko Radda, has extended Christmas greetings to Christians in the state and across Nigeria, urging them to promote unity, peace, and religious tolerance.

In a statement issued on Wednesday by his Chief Press Secretary, Ibrahim Mohamed, the governor called on Christians to reflect on the teachings of Jesus Christ, particularly love, sacrifice, compassion, and peaceful coexistence.

Radda described Christmas as an important period for renewing commitment to values that foster national unity, stressing that harmony among people of different religious and ethnic backgrounds is essential to the development of Katsina State and Nigeria.

He urged sustained collaboration among Christians, Muslims, and adherents of other faiths, noting that religious tolerance and mutual respect remain key to peace and progress.

The governor also encouraged Christians to use the season to pray for peace, security, and prosperity in the country, adding that both divine intervention and collective human effort are required to overcome current challenges.

Radda assured Christians in Katsina State of his administration’s commitment to protecting their rights, guaranteeing their safety, and ensuring an environment where all citizens can freely practice their faith.
