Nigerians have raised concerns over a trending video which surfaced on social media platforms showing some criminal bandits displaying wads of naira notes which is believed to run into millions apparently proceeds from money collected from kidnapped victims.
A social media commentator and critic, Shehu Mahdi who also shared the video on his X handle on Friday, had this to say:
“Criminal bandits sharing their extorted loots. They have seen how politicians spray money in public and are willing to showcase how fast they are in learning the in-thing in Nigeria.

“Only enemies of Nigeria will not be pained by this level of degradation.
“And only a DECEPTIVE brand of democracy can nurture this NONSENSE.”
