Dr. Hakeem Baba-Ahmed was on Saturday elected as National Chairman of the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP).
Baba-Ahmed, a former Special Adviser on Political Matters to President Bola Tinubu emerged during the party’s National Convention.

Kanu Sunny emerged as the National Secretary, as his opponent, Abdulhakeem Abdullahi Ago, stepped down prior to the commencement of voting, paving the way for Sunny’s victory.
Contenders for all other party positions emerged unopposed and were consequently affirmed.
