Nigerian disc jockey and activist, Obianuju Catherine Udeh, popularly known as DJ Switch, has reacted to the news of former President Muhammadu Buhari’s death.

Buhari reportedly passed away in London on Sunday, July 13, 2025, after a prolonged battle with an undisclosed illness.

In response to the announcement of former President Buhari's death, DJ Switch took to social media with a terse message that read: “Wow! The sweet reality of inevitability. RIP MF. One down.”

DJ Switch, who became a prominent voice during the #EndSARS protests in 2020, gained national and international attention for livestreaming the controversial shooting of peaceful protesters by Nigerian Army personnel at the Lekki Toll Gate in Lagos. Her outspoken stance on human rights issues and criticism of the Buhari-led administration made her one of the most vocal figures of that period.
