The official disc jockey to the award-winning singer, Wizkid, has officially confirmed the release date of the singer's new song.

DJ Tunez, Wizkid’s official disc jockey and long-time creative partner, took to social media to drop the bombshell every Starboy fan has been waiting for, confirming that the singer will be releasing a new song this year.

With three simple but massive phrases, "NEW MUSIC NEXT MONTH! STATE OF MIND! BIG WIZ!" Tunez has officially started the countdown to May 2026.

While 2026 has already seen plenty of industry-shaking headlines, the focus is now firmly back on the music. This confirmation follows weeks of swirling rumours and snippets suggesting a fresh project titled "State of Mind."
