Investors in the Nigerian equities market gained N985 billion at the close of trading last week.
The market capitalisation rose to N88.9 trillion from N87.9 trillion recorded the previous week.
Similarly, the All-Share Index (ASI) appreciated by 1.12% to close the week at 140,545.69 points from 138,980.01 points recorded the previous week.
Amid the bearish sentiment, stocks like E-Tranzact International Plc, Regency Assurance Plc and Chellarams Plc still performed creditably to secure their places amongst the top 10 performing stocks last week and positioned themselves as stocks to watch in the new week.
