EFCC arrests 3 suspected vote buyers in Anambra

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Saturday arrested three suspected vote buyers during the governorship election in Anambra State.

The commission confirmed the development in a post on its X handle.

The suspects were picked up in different parts of the state with Emeka Ilokasia, arrested at Ward 2, Njikoka Local Government Area,  Nwachukwu Loretta at Ward 2 (008), Awkuzu, Oyi LGA and Emuka Chuwudi, at Umunachi Village, Dunukofia LGA.

“They will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded,” the EFCC stated.
