EFCC raid Malami's Kebbi and Abuja homes and offices

Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have carried out coordinated raids on the Abuja and Kebbi offices and private residences of former Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, SAN. In a statement released on his Facebook wall today December 17 by his media aide Mohammed Doka, Malami disclosed that the raids were carried out on Tuesday December 16 without prior notice. According to him, the raids were expressly directed at searching for documents allegedly connected to Chapter 9 of the Salami Report. We consider this development deeply alarming.
