West Ham United will host Sunderland in an early kick-off on Saturday afternoon at the London Stadium.
Newcastle United will tackle Aston Villa at St. James’ Park on Sunday, while Chelsea will clash with Crystal Palace.
So, what fixtures can we expect to see upsets this weekend?
1. Man City vs Wolves: This match will take place on Saturday evening at the Etihad Stadium. Pep Guardiola’s side currently sits in the second position on the Premier League table. City lost their last match 2-0 against Manchester United, while Wolves played 0-0 against Newcastle United and currently sit in the bottom place on the Premier League table. However, the hosts will hope to avoid another defeat when they face Wolves, but the visitors could get a good result against the Cityzens, as they have suffered two defeats in their last two games against United in the Premier League and also against Bodø/Glimt in the UEFA Champions League.
2. Bournemouth vs Liverpool: This match will take place at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday evening. Bournemouth are currently in the 15th position on the Premier League table, while Liverpool are 4th on the log. Both teams failed to win their last matches against Brighton and Burnley, respectively, after playing a 1-1 draw. However, the hosts will hope to get a good result against the Reds, as they will make use of their home supporters as an advantage when they welcome Arne Slot’s side.
3. Crystal Palace vs Chelsea: This match will take place at Selhurst Park on Sunday evening. The hosts lost their last match 2-1 against Sunderland and will hope to avoid another back-to-back defeat when they face Chelsea at home, and could pull a good result against the visitors. Chelsea, meanwhile, won 2-0 against Brentford in their last game. The Premier League west London club is currently in the 6th position on the Premier League table, while Crystal Palace is in 13th position.
