Chelsea, on Tuesday, created an unwanted record after losing 3-0 against Brighton in the Premier League.
Liam Rosenior’s were defeated at the Amex Stadium following goals from Danny Welbeck, Jack Hinshelwood, and Ferdi Kadioglu.
However, according to OptaJoe, Chelsea have now lost five successive league games without scoring for the first time since November 1912.
The outcome of the match means the Blues are now in 7th place on the Premier League table behind Brighton, Liverpool, Aston Villa, Manchester United, Manchester City and Arsenal.
They will face Leeds United in their next game in the FA Cup semi-final tie this Sunday.
Rosenior’s side will have to win their last four remaining Premier League matches to stand any chance of qualifying for the UEFA Champions League next season.
