Crystal Palace head coach, Oliver Glasner says he was satisfied with Christantus Uche’s performance in the home clash with Sunderland.
Uche made his first appearance for the Eagles in the 0-0 stalemate with Sunderland at the Selhurst Park on Saturday.
The Nigeria international replaced Yeremy Pino in the 84th minute of the keenly contested encounter.
The 22-year-old was close to scoring in the game and also had a penalty appeal turned down.
Glasner praised the midfielder for his impressive display.
“It was the same with Uche at the end, I thought he could help us in having a little bit more physicality in our attack ” He was great, he had a big chance as well. I think we could have got a penalty in this situation.”
