Chelsea legend, John Terry, has hailed Arsenal attacking midfielder Max Dowman, comparing him to Inter Miami’s Lionel Messi.
Terry’s comments came after Dowman netted a goal in Arsenal’s impressive 2-0 victory over Everton in the Premier League on Saturday.
Following the match at the Emirates Stadium, the former England defender noted how Dowman effortlessly glided past opponents on the pitch.
In a post-game TikTok video, Terry said, “Max Dowman, what a talent he is at just 16 years old.
He added, “I watched him play against Chelsea about a year ago, and I have not seen anyone glide past people, other than Messi.
“That’s a big comparison, but he will play a big part for both Arsenal and England in the future.”
