Manchester United manager, Michael Carrick, has hailed Matheus Cunha after his team defeated Arsenal 3-2 in the Premier League on Sunday evening.
Speaking at his post-match interview after the game, Carrick said the Brazilian put a lot against the Gunners.
Carrick watched as Man United came from a goal down to beat the Gunners at the Emirates Stadium.
Goals from Bryan Mbeumo, Patrick Dorgu and Cunha gave the Red Devils all three points against the Premier League leaders.
“Matheus [Cunha] with a huge moment for us. The boys put an awful lot in today, it probably didn’t come as easily as — not that it was easy last week, but the flow of the game and the rhythm with us the whole time,” Carrick said.
“This one we had to dig deeper, and it was a massive effort. I’m really proud of them.”
