Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has hailed Arsenal’s competitiveness after his side won 2-1 in the Premier League on Sunday.
The victory saw City cut the Gunners’ lead to three points and they still have a game in hand.
Ryan Cherki opened the scoring in the first half, before Kai Havertz made it 1-1.
Erling Haaland got the decisive goal for Guardiola’s men in the second half.
Guardiola, speaking to Sky Sports, said: “It was a good advert for the Premier League.
“They don’t allow you to go through the process, they’re so aggressive.
“They are good in the duels and one of the most competitive teams I ever faced in my career in terms of duels and one against one, long balls with Havertz and Rice, second balls – fantastic.
“We had momentum, they had momentum, we had chances, they had chances. At the end in these type of games, it is little margins.”
