Manchester City failed to cut Arsenal’s lead at the top of the Premier League, after they were defeated 2-1 at Newcastle United on Saturday.
The former champions would have been one point behind the Gunners if they left St James’ Park with victory.
But City missed several chances to take the lead in the first half.
Newcastle took the lead through Harvey Barnes, who had squandered big opportunities himself.
Pep Guardiola’s men however levelled the game within three minutes, thanks to Ruben Dias’ deflected effort.
Harvey then bundled home a winner for the hosts, who held on for a big win in front of their fans.
