A rejuvenated Manchester United side thrashed Brighton 4-2 in a Premier League clash at Old Trafford on Saturday night.
Matheus Cunha scored his first United goal to put the host ahead, Casemiro’s deflected effort doubled their lead before Bryan Mbeumo added a third.
Danny Welbeck and Kostoulas responded for Brighton as they pushed for an equaliser, but Mbeumo added a late fourth to seal victory for the Red Devils.
Elsewhere, Liverpool were beaten 3-2 by Brentford, with added time pressure to get an equaliser proving abortive.

Defending champions Liverpool have suffered a slow start to the Premier League this season as they fell to their fourth defeat after nine matches.
Earlier in the day, Chelsea were shocked by Sunderland as they lost 2-1 at Stamford Bridge.
Alejandro Garnacho netted his first Chelsea goal and Wilson Isidor leveled for Sunderland before Chemsdine Talbi scored the winner for the visitors on 93 minutes.
At Goodison Park, Super Eagles duo of Alex Iwobi and Calvin Bassey were in action as Fulham fell to a 2-1 defeat to Newcastle United.
