Manchester United will pay manager Rúben Amorim a compensation fee of £12 million if he is sacked, according to the Daily Mail.
Amorim is under increasing pressure at Old Trafford after just 10 months in charge.
Although United remain supportive of the 40-year-old, the club’s hierarchy could be forced to act if results do not improve.
Otherwise, the Red Devils would have to pay Amorim off.
Amorim’s current contract expires in the summer of 2027, after he joined the Premier League club in November 2024.
United have endured their worst start to a season in 33 years, having picked up just four points in four games under Amorim’s watch.
