Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, has claimed that “his heart almost stopped” during the 2-1 win over Chelsea on Sunday.
Arteta was referring to a late chance for the Blues, with David Raya clawing away Joao Pedro’s effort.
Raya made the save with the scoreline at 2-1 already, after Jurrien Timber had headed in what proved to be the winner.
Piero Hincapie’s own goal had cancelled out William Saliba’s opener.
Speaking on Raya’s save, Arteta told the media: “My heart almost stopped.
“David Raya’s hands were there to bring it back to life.”
Arsenal remain five points clear of Manchester City, although they have played one more fixture.
