Fulham head coach Marco Silva has heaped praise on Samuel Chukwueze following the winger’s impressive performance in the club’s victory over Tottenham Hotspur.
The Whites defeated their hosts 2-1 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday.
Chukwueze registered an assist in the closely contested encounter and was named Man of the Match after the game.
“He was definitely knocking on the door before the game. He is a very good player, we all know that,” Silva said, as reported by Fulham correspondent Jack Kelly.
“He started because he deserved it, and it was another great performance from him.”
Chukwueze joined the Cottagers on loan from AC Milan in the summer and has provided three assists in six league appearances for Fulham.
