Arsenal opened a five-point gap at the top of the Premier League table, with a hard-fought 2-1 win over Wolves on Saturday.
The Gunners saw their lead cut to two points, after they lost at Aston Villa and Manchester City beat Sunderland.
But Mikel Arteta’s men struggled to get a shot on target for most of the game despite their dominance.
When Arsenal took the lead, it was thanks to an own goal from goalkeeper, Sam Johnson.
With the hosts heading towards three points, there was a late twist, as Super Eagles striker Tolu Arokodare headed in an equalizer.
But there was enough time for Yerson Mosquera to head past Johnson as Arsenal took all three points.
City can reduce the gap again when they travel to Crystal Palace on Sunday.
