Manchester United legend, Wayne Rooney, has backed Arsenal to win the Premier League title ahead of Manchester City.
After watching the Gunners comfortably beat Fulham 3-0 at the Emirates on Saturday, Rooney insisted that Mikel Arteta’s side won’t drop another point.
He, however, believes City will stumble somewhere along the way.
Speaking on BBC’s Match of the Day, Rooney explained, “I think Arsenal will win the league.
“I felt this after Man City beat Arsenal. I felt it was maybe in Arsenal’s heads, having to go to Man City and losing in the cup final to them.
“But I think still being there, level on points after that City defeat, and I think the fixtures are more favourable for Arsenal. I think they will win every game. I could see City slipping up in one or two games.”
