Former Arsenal star, Paul Merson, has tipped his old club to edge out Manchester City in the Premier League title race.
He suggested that Mikel Arteta’s side might not need to win every remaining match to get the job done.
Arsenal’s last three games in the Premier League are against West Ham, Burnley, and Crystal Palace.
In his column for Sportskeeda, Merson said, “Imagine if Jeremy Doku hadn’t scored that late goal [against Everton], it could have been far worse for City.
“I still believe Arsenal will win the league, and they might not have to win all their matches to do it.”
Arsenal currently leads the Premier League table by five points, though City has a game in hand.
This weekend, the Gunners will face West Ham, while Pep Guardiola’s side will clash with Brentford.
