The Federal Executive Council (FEC) will hold a special session in honour of the late former President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday.
Buhari, who died in a London hospital on Sunday, was laid to rest at his residence in Daura, Katsina State, on Tuesday.
The Special Adviser on Information and Strategy to the President, Bayo Onanuga, disclosed this in a statement on his X handle on Wednesday.

He said the expanded FEC meeting slated for the Presidential Villa, Abuja, would be attended by the leadership of the National Assembly, the judiciary, and representatives of the family of the late former President.
The regular FEC meeting slated for Monday was postponed to enable President Tinubu and his team to attend the late leader’s funeral in Daura.
